Turin to Montgenevre
Montgenevre is located right on the French Italian border, it's part of the Milkyway ski area. The Milkyway covers over 400km of piste at the lowest point in Cesana it's 1380m with the highest pistes sitting at 2800m. Montgenevre has some of the most snow sure slopes in the Alps and is normally one of the first resorts to open and one of the last to close. You can access the Milkyway and in particular Montgenevre in only 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Turin airport, making it one of the best resorts in France for airport transfer time. We always recommend Montgenevre for families, although it has some of the best off piste in the region and in recent years the likes of Candide Thovex has spent weeks on end claiming fresh tracks across this "Hidden Gem of the Alps" it also has some fantastic tree runs. The village itself still has a great French Mountain village feel to it and has not been over commercialised in any way meaning the lift passes are also more affordable than some of the "bigger" resorts.
Snow Cab operate transfers from Turin airport to Montgenevre 365 days a year, and offer a regular shared transfer service up to 5 times a day every Saturday and Sunday over the winter season. All our transfers from Turin come with the service of one of our drivers meeting you at the arrivals gate, we try and have all our shared transfers meeting UK flights straight on the road with no waiting about between flights, so the service is almost as good as a private but just sharing the vehicle making it more economical while being more eco-friendly.
