Re-opened Borders and Conditions of Travel

On the 9th June 2021, France reopened its borders to travellers. Travel rules and restrictions in France include a colour-coded system and freedom of travel is dependent on the health situation in your country. Travellers from the UK – currently an “orange country” – can travel to France with conditions that include:

Proof of being fully vaccinated and a valid, negative PCR or antigen test.

From the European area, France are accepting the EU Digital COVID certificate (EUDCC). Holders of the EUDCC are allowed to enter France without being subject to further restrictions (testing or quarantine) under the conditions that the certificate contains either proof of full vaccination (2 weeks after second dose / 4 weeks after single shot vaccinations) and a valid negative result to a PCR or antigenic test. Children, under 11 are exempted.

ALL arrivals into France need to complete a self-certified ‘sworn statement’ confirming no symptoms associated with the coronavirus and no contact with confirmed cases up to two weeks prior to arrival.

Travel and entry conditions will most certainly be adapted according to the evolution of the pandemic.
